Project Starfish Update

Fr. John Kraker Recreational Centerhas been completed and is being utilized by San Felicitas , our sister community in El Salvador.Children are learning the art of making ceramic tiles in their spare time.It keeps them off the streets, and they sell their creations for income as well.  The center has become a safe haven for youth.This is just one example of a great youth programs they are able to conduct in the new recreational center.

Two representatives from the parish will visit San Felicitasin early December for the dedication of the new Fr. John Kraker Recreational Center .The ceremony will be presided over by the Archbishop of El Salvador. They will be bringing back pictures and stories of this wonderful place to share with the entire parish.

Again, a heartfelt expression of thanks goes out to all who contributed to our Lenten cause of Project Starfish.
